Omar F. Greene is an experienced trial lawyer in private practice who represents clients in federal and state criminal cases and in civil injury cases. He is a former state deputy prosecutor in Pulaski County and a former assistant federal defender. He received his Arkansas Attorney’s License in 1989.

Omar has represented clients in more than 700 federal felony cases, probably more than any attorney in Arkansas. He has represented clients in about 250 federal criminal appeals. His experience includes defending clients charged with fraud, embezzlement, income tax evasion, high-volume drug trafficking, firearms offenses, and other federal felony charges. He has a high success rate in criminal jury trials in federal court amongst any other attorney in the state of Arkansas.

In state jury trials, Omar has fought for clients facing charges of capital murder, first degree murder, battery, assault, sex offenses, drugs, theft, and other criminal charges. He has a high success rate at trial in state criminal defense cases. He has filed criminal appeals with the Arkansas Supreme Court and Arkansas Court of Appeals.

Federal judges appointed Omar to the Federal Practice Committee for the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Arkansas. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the federal Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, the federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the courts of the State of Arkansas.

In addition to his federal criminal defense and state criminal defense practice, Omar represents clients in personal injury cases. He is a strong advocate for clients who are injured by the negligence or fault of other drivers, corporations, products, interstate trucking, or other at-fault businesses. His trial experience can benefit his clients in these cases. In a civil trial in state court, a jury foreman asked the judge if the jury could “give even more” than asked for by Omar’s client. Omar has obtained favorable settlements for clients in federal civil cases.

He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDL), and the Arkansas Association of Federal Criminal Defense Attorneys (AACDL).
